Chiropractic Stretches for Relief

Thompson Technique: This move requires the increasingly popular chiropractor table. This move is where the professional will massage deeply in the area of pain/ ache, causing your body to be dropped by a quarter of an inch. This drop causes a vibration in your body, which can relieve any pressure your body is holding. 

Activator Technique: Used for treating anything from spinal pain to joint aches, the activator practice is not only one of the most common techniques used, but one of the most popular amongst clients. This maneuver uses a light impulse into the painful area, creating relaxation and decompressing of muscles and joints. 

Diversified technique: This technique is usually related to adjustments around the body that create the famous ‘popping’ sounds. This is carried out by manual adjustments that correct the misaligned parts of the spine. The Diversified technique has been used for over a hundred years. Throughout this time, it has evolved to be able to rectify many forms of joint problems as well as spinal injuries. 

Graston Technique: The Graston Technique engages with the tissues in your body by massaging and applying heavy pressure to the skin. This action allows for painful areas to become less restricted. The advantages of this technique are shorter treatment time, faster rehabilitation, and reduced need for anti-inflammatory drugs. 

Ultrasound: The chiropractor you visit may wish to apply ultrasound to your spine and joints. Similar to heating, it can improve the healing process, stimulate blood flow and lessen pains and aches.
